Woodchurch Census Collection

The following census transcriptions are freely available and fully searchable online. All have been compiled and proofread by local researchers with local knowledge. They are, in many cases, more accurate than commercially-available census databases.

Note that these online transcriptions do not contain images of the enumerators' returns or, in the case of the 1911 census, household schedules. Microfilm of these can be viewed at some local libraries (e.g. Ashford, Kent), the Centre for Kentish Studies at Maidstone, The National Archives at Kew, and your nearest LDS Family History Centre. You can also view census images online using the subscription or pay-per-view services of, amongst others, The National Archives, Ancestry, and findmypast.
